Willie Cannon

Willie Lee Cannon, 91 of Lonoke departed this life, March 23, 2022. He was born December 26, 1930 to the late Harrison Cannon and Francie Powell Cannon in Lonoke, Arkansas. Willie worked on Hill’s Farm for many, many years. He loved to work and take care of his family. On February 28, 1989 he married Ms. Mammie Marshall Cannon, who preceded him in death. He had five step-children, two who preceded him in death, Ezzard Gilliam and George Gilliam. Willie was also preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mrs. Betty and Mrs. Katherine Nellums Hollyway and brother, Harris Cannon, Jr. He leaves behind to cherish his memory step-sons, Christopher (Shirley) Gilliam and Cleveland (Kathy) Gilliam; step-daughter, Culmedal Gilliam; special niece, Martha Cannon Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 2, 2022 in Lonoke Cemetery.
