Obituary

Truman A Godair, 91, of Carlisle, Arkansas passed away January 5, 2022. He was born February 25, 1930, in Griffithsville, AR to Louie L and Jennie Godair.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 60 years, Alpha Barker Godair; brothers, Gordon Godair and Homer Godair; sisters, Lois Lane, Joyce Colclasure, and Carol Clements.

He was survived his daughters, Cynthia Weischman (Danny) of Stuttgart, Linda Henley (Dennis) and Terri Davis (Dee) both of Carlisle; two grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

A proud Navy veteran of the Korean War - the things he loved most were God, his country, Bison football, and “the girl that had his heart” Hilary Plafcan James (MaShawn).

There will be a public visitation Sunday, January 9, 2022, at 1:00PM followed by a memorial service at 2:00PM at Boyd Funeral Home, 207 E 2nd St. Lonoke, Arkansas
