Michael “Mike” Allen White, 60, of Pettus, Arkansas passed peacefully in his home surrounded by family September 4, 2021 at 2:45 a.m. He was born October 26, 1960 in Little Rock, Arkansas to James and Virginia (Coleman) White. Mike was a 1979 Lonoke graduate and a die hard Lonoke Jackrabbit fan. He attended Arkansas State University of Jonesboro for two years. Together, he and his father ran the family farm, and in his free time, Mike enjoyed riding or working on one of his many Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was an avid collector of historical memorabilia such as jukeboxes, roller skates, soda machines, instruments and other antiques. He also enjoyed working on his collectible items and ordering things online. He loved spending time with his family and teaching them the art of tinkering as well as emphasizing the importance of learning academics. Mike and Liz would have celebrated their 35th anniversary September 12, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Earl White of Pettus, his paternal grandmother Iva White of Carlise, and George and Virginia (Tiney) Coleman, maternal grandparents of Pettus. He is survived by his mother, Virginia White; wife, Elizabeth (Turner) White, his children Taleica Jackson (Scotty), Jeremy Wadkins (Lisa), Kristen Jasso (Joe), and Stephanie Thompson (Andy), his grandchildren: Brandon Sanderson, Madelynne Sanderson, Braxton Kendrick, Temprence Wadkins, Trinity Wadkins, Natellie Jasso, Joseph Michael “Caspian” Jasso, Gracelynn Jasso & Jeremiah Jasso, and James Michael Owen Thompson & Addison Thompson, and one great grandchild Issac Sanderson.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lonoke, Arkansas at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, Arkansas from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the caretakers from Baptist Health Hospice, Dr. Angela Driskill of the Wound Center, Dr. Stefan Hemmings of Arkansas Nephrology, and DaVita Dialysis Center. If desired friends may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association in Little Rock, Arkansas.
