Leslie Whittenburg

Leslie Roy Whittenburg, 74 of Lonoke, passed from this life Friday, January 15, 2021. He was of Baptist faith, a Vietnam Veteran and retired FCC Communications Engineer from Southwestern Bell Telephone. Leslie was an avid fisherman and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors. He had a great heart for helping those in need and will be missed by so many friends and loved ones. Leslie is survived by his wife of 52 years, Thelma Skillern Whittenburg; two sons, Kenneth and wife, Lanie Whittenburg of Lonoke and Thomas and wife, Jessica Whittenburg of Sherwood. He was blessed with eight grandchildren, Jessica, Grant, James and Noah Whittenburg, Colby and Hannah Hartley, McKinleigh Miller and Adam Redden. A come and go visitation will be Tuesday, January 19, 2021, 2-6 pm, Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in Brownsville Cemetery, Lonoke.
