Judy Gordon

Judy Ann (Gable) Gordon, 72, of Sherwood, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on May 9th, 2023. Judy was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 12th, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ora Gable, brothers, Garland, Jim and Leon Gable and sisters, Louise Holt, Jean Parnell, Katherine Evans, and Bessie Mae Barber from Lonoke, Arkansas.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Clifton H. Gordon, to whom she was wed for 54 years, her daughters, Angela McClain (Tony) and Stacy Gordon, grandchildren, Justin McClain, Ashley Anderson (Brad), Shelby Harmon and Jake Harmon, and brother Donald Evans.

Judy grew up in Lonoke, Arkansas and after graduating Lonoke High School in 1968, she married her high school sweetheart, Clifton H. Gordon. on June 2nd. While raising her girls Judy worked numerous places in sales and real estate and ended her career owning her own bridal shop named Ashley’s Bridal Gowns, in Sherwood, Arkansas, named after her first granddaughter Ashley. She created a home filled with love and laughter. Judy was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends or being outside working in her garden.

Judy loved her family which also included many cousins, nieces and nephews. She also had so many wonderful friends whom she loved spending time with making memories.

She will be missed by many for her giving heart, witty sense of humor and the tremendous love she had for her family, friends and fur baby, Gabby Ann.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, Arkansas with burial to follow at Weedon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00PM on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Boyd Funeral Home.
