Obituary

John Harold Hicks, 89, of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away on June 2, 2022. He was born in Hazlehurst Mississippi on November 20, 1932 to the late Jim and Henrietta Hicks.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Frederick Hicks; and 7 siblings, Arthur Hicks, Ruby Hicks Smith, Charlie (QC) Hicks, Hannah Rosetta HIcks Coleman, James Hicks, Lottie Hicks McCullough and Jerry (Bud) Hicks.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Ann Hicks; children, LaTrenda Hicks and Shameka Moragne; grandchildren, Shaibrean Hicks, Dontrae Patterson and Andrew Reed, Jr. (A.J.); great-grandchildren, Myron White, Jr. (M.J.) and Armoni Reed; and sister, Grace Hicks Newsom.

A memorial graveside will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lonoke, Arkansas.
