Gladys Elva Hardin, 89, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away April 29, 2023. She was born to the late Everett Alvin and Annie Alma McWhorter on June 28, 1933.
Gladys was a competitive person who loved all games. She was the washer queen, the person you always wanted on your team. She would feed anyone who came around the house, saying “I’ll fix you something”, whether you were hungry or not.
She is preceded by two sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Charles W. Hardin; children, Dennis (Debbie) Gibbins, Claira (Darrell) Burns, Pam (Randy) Buck, Rhonda Myers, Elam Hardin, Wesley Hardin, Ronnie (Angel) Hardin, Renee (Tim) Dudderar, and Michelle Burks; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 3 sisters; 1 brother; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, Arkansas with burial to follow at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00PM, Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Boyd Funeral Home.
