September 18, 1953 — December 19, 2020

Carlisle

Deborah “Debbie” Snider Mayher, 67, was born in Hazen, AR on September 18, 1953, to C.C. Snider and Charlotte Scallion Snider McArthur. She graduated from Carlisle High School in 1971. In September of 2019, after 33 years, she retired from Phillips-VanHeusen Shirt Company in Brinkley, AR, where many of her co-workers became lifelong best friends. She enjoyed hunting with her husband, singing for numerous events, and always looked forward to watching her granddaughter play softball. She treasured the memories of spending time and holidays with her family. She is preceded in death by her dad, C.C Snider, her step-father Loyce McArthur, her fur-baby, Pepper, and several aunts and uncles. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 48 years, Dennis G. Mayher, of Carlisle; her daughter, Shannon Mayher Sledd (Jamie) of Benton; her son, Brad Mayher (Jennifer) of Jacksonville; her mother, Charlotte Scallion McArthur of Carlisle; Two Sisters, Diane Snider Uhiren (Michael) of Houston, MS and Cheri Snider Henderson (Gary) of Carlisle; Brother, Cecil Snider of Carlisle. Four grandchildren, whom she adored, Taylor and Audrey Sledd of Benton and Braden and Bradley Mayher. Nieces and Nephews, Samantha (Fort) Barton (Granbury, TX), Michelle (Fort) Hurst (Houston MS), Sloane Henderson (Carlisle AR), Sha (Snider) O’Neil (Georgia), Felicia (Mayher) Sanders (Cabot AR) Brandon Uhiren (Alabama), Brian Wicklund (Conway). A host of cousins, great-nephews, a great-niece, and a great-great-niece. Debbie loved her family, as well as her church family. Her gift of singing has touched many people over the years and even when her breathing was difficult, God made a way for her to sing with the Praise Team at Immanuel Baptist Church. Debbie loved each of her grandchildren with all her heart and wanted them to never forget they were loved. The family would like to thank Dr. Mendelsohn, the medical staff at CARTI and Baptist Health Hospital- ICU South for their care during Debbie’s battle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church of Carlisle Music Ministry in Memory of Debbie.
