William Howard Stoddard

William Howard “Tub” Stoddard, 87, of Lonoke, Arkansas, passed peacefully on July 28, 2026. He was born April 19, 1939, in Lonoke, Arkansas to Otis Merton Stoddard and Mattie Tabitha Johnson Stoddard.

“Tub” was a lifelong resident of Lonoke and was in the Arkansas National Guard where he was honorably discharged after his service. He later worked for and retired from Riceland Foods after 25 years.

William, with great expectation, was welcomed home with open arms by his wife Loyce Marie Thompson Stoddard and his sister Dorthy Stoddard Grimes, both preceded him in death.

He is survived by his children, Carol Hemmer, William D Stoddard (Kandice), Lee Stoddard and Mike Stoddard and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation at 10:00am, Monday, August 3, 2026, at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel and a graveside service to begin at 11:00am at Sunset Memorial Gardens, located at 1590 US Highway 70, Lonoke, Arkansas.
