William Ivy, Jr.
April 15, 1951 — January 11, 2017
William Dennis “Steel Bill” Ivy, Jr. passed away in his sleep at the age of 65 on January 11, 2017. He was born to parents William Dennis “Dugan” Ivy, Sr. and Ellen Williams Ivy on April 15, 1951.
He is preceded in death by his father Dugan. Survivors include his mother Ellen Ivy; daughter Michelle (James) Faulkner; grandson Brian Faulkner and granddaughter Samantha Teague; his brother Michael Ivy; sisters Nancy Ivy, Joyce Cash, Karen (Kenneth “Lucky”) Barnes, and Tammy (Patrick) Hodkin; he also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and lots of good friends.
He loved to fish and to be at the pit with his friend Ricky McCowen. He could be ornery at times but always willing to help his friends and family when he was able. He will be greatly missed by all.
Memorial Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, January 15, at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Weedon Cemetery. Online guest book, www.boydfuneralhome.net.
