Virginia Mackey
April 28, 1938 — February 3, 2015
Our mother Virginia Ann Mackey went to be with our Lord and Savior and into the arms of our dad on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Patrick Lawrence Mackey, Sr., parents Edward and Bertha Russaw, brother, Steve Russaw and a sister Betty Plough. Survivors include children Patrick L. Mackey, III, Mark (Cathy) Mackey, Sally Mackey, Betty Tyler, and Becky (Frank) Garza; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She loved to do all kinds of crafts, spend time with her family and friends and the time she spent at Mt Tabor Methodist Church. She retired from Remington Arms after 20 years of service. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Thursday, February 5 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Concord Cemetery. www.boydfuneralhome.net.
