Verdell Morris

Verdell Morris, 56, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, passed away September 25, 2021, in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 7, 1964. He graduated from Greenville High School in Mississippi, before joining the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Susie Morris, of Greenville, Mississippi; brother, Marcelis Gibson and sister, Sharita Gibson, both of Chicago, Illinois.

He is survived by his wife, of thirty-three years, Rosie Davis Morris; daughters, Alisha Morris of Austin, Texas, Angellica Morris of Jacksonville, Arkansas; sisters, Brenda (Larry) Cartridge and Susie Morris, both of Memphis, Tennessee, and Ollie Mae (Sam) Armstrong of Greenville, Mississippi; brothers, Jerome Gibson of Greenville, Mississippi and Tyrone Gibson of Iowa. He is also survived by dozens of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service honoring Verdell Morris will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, Arkansas.
