Tommy Austin
September 8, 1937 — February 1, 2014
Tommy G. Austin, age 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday February 1, 2004. He was a retired employee of Lonoke County Maintenance Dept. and a longtime member of Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Betty Austin ; one son Jeff Austin, and a daughter Tammie (Avery) Gardner, all of Lonoke.
He never met a stranger. He was loved by many and will be missed.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 4 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.m. Wednesday in the Chapel at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. www.boydfuneralhome.net.
