Roy Buford Burgess, Jr., 71, of Pearl, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018. He was born October 25, 1946 in North Little Rock to Dona Sue Ware and Roy Buford Burgess, Sr. Roy was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served in Vietnam. He retired after many years from Cardinal Health.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dona Sue Ware and Roy Buford Burgess, Sr., his sister Myra Jane Ash and brother, Steve Burgess. He is survived by wife, Doloris of 47 years, son, William Greg Burgess, daughter Karen Ramsey, four grandchildren Alan (Tiffany) Hillhouse, Chris Hillhouse, Kayla Hillhouse and Lane Ramsey, three great-grandchildren, Donovan Hillhouse, Bruce Patton, Jr. and Savannah Patton.
