Robert I. DePriest, III, 72, of Lonoke passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at his home in Furlow. He was born February 15, 1947 in Little Rock to the late Robert I. (Joe) DePriest, Jr. and Clarice DePriest.
Robert was a lifelong resident of Lonoke. He was a graduate of Lonoke High School and Arkansas Tech University, Russellville. He served on the Lonoke School Board for 10 years, was a former member of the Lonoke County Quorum Court, a member of Concord United Methodist Church and a Mason. He enjoyed farming and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s fan.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Debbie DePriest; son, J.J. DePriest (Dawn); daughters, Ginger DePriest and Elizabeth DePriest (Brock); granddaughter, Kendall Jo DePriest; sister, Janie Raper (Ronnie); brother, Jim DePriest (Karol) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be at Concord United Methodist Church on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior beginning at 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Concord Cemetery, c/o Karol DePriest, 436 Furlow Loop, Lonoke, AR 72086.
