Phillip Ray Stringfellow transitioned to heaven to be with his sweet Jesus on November 10, 2015. He was born on November 20, 1946. He was a retired science teacher and he built houses.
He was preceded in death by his parents Madelyn and Ray Stringfellow. He is survived by his wife, Beverly, his daughters, Julie Stringfellow, Kari Tate(Johnathan), 2 grandchildren (Gabriel and Abigail Tate), a sister Sue Barner (Chester), a brother Steve Stringfellow (Shelby), and the staff at Red Oak Healthcare and Rehab where he received excellent care for over 9 years.
He loved Jesus and couldn’t wait to see Him and his family that had crossed over. He would ask people if they knew Jesus. He didn’t want anyone barred from heaven.
Phillip had many health problems and traveled a long and arduous road. He did it with a smile. He talked with his wife and anyone that came his way everyday about heaven. He never met a stranger. He was loved.
A public celebration of his life will take place on Thursday November 12, 2015 at 6 pm Lonoke United Methodist Church
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the activity funds at Red Oaks Health and Rehabilitation, Lonoke Health and Rehab Center, Arkansas Hospice, or Lonoke Methodist Church Music Fund.
