Mary Lue Linn

Mary Linn, 77, of Carlisle, Arkansas passed away peacefully in her home on the morning of August 10, 2026. She was born August 3, 1949, in Lonoke, Arkansas. Mary was preceded in death by her parents A.C. and Zada Linn of Carlisle, Arkansas, sisters Shirley Wyatt and Margaret Virginia Goacher, and nephews Leon Allen Goacher, Brian Wyatt, and Seth Wyatt. She is survived by her daughter Kayla Goacher (Rachel), sister Jennette Wilkins, 3 nephews, and 10 great nieces and nephews.

Mary attended Carlisle Public Schools, as well as Draughon School of Business. She worked for Arkansas Rehabilitation Services, followed by Alltel/Verizon, for a total of 43 years. She had a charitable heart and dedicated herself to family and friends. She had a refined palate and was a connoisseur of gourmet dining. She enjoyed her retirement with family and friends, playing cards and watching TV. She will be sorely missed by all who know her.

Visitation will be held on Monday August 17th at 9:00 a.m. at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke along with services at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hamilton Cemetery. If you have any questions, please let us know.
