Mary Huggs

January 14, 1929 — April 21, 2018

Mary Evelyn Huggs, 89, of Carlisle, passed away April 21, 2018.  She was born January 14, 1929 in DeValls Bluff to Robert Luther Harris and Mary Grace Harris.  She was a member of the Lonoke Apostolic Church where she worked many years in the Sunday school nursery department.  She was a LPN and LPTN for many years at Zimmerman Nursing Home.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Lloyd Huggs and son Michael Huggs.  Survivors include one brother Robert Harris, two sisters Faye Baugh and Linda Harris, two daughters Phyllis (David) Caldwell, Sharon (Ronnie) Varnadore, five grandchildren, Charissa (Steven) Alddridge, David (Callie) Caldwell Jr., Micah Jacobs, Tiffany (Wes) Arkless and Drew Varnadore, four great grandchildren, Kendra (Ethan) Pennington, Judson Caldwell, Jude Caldwell and Jessalyn Arkless.  Family will be receiving friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 26th at Lonoke Apostolic Church officiated by Bishop Donald Sjostrand and Pastor Dr. John Tackett.  Interment will follow at Lonoke Cemetery.
