Mary Caroline Evans

Mary Caroline Evans, 90, of Lonoke, Arkansas, passed peacefully January 15, 2026. She was born in Plain View, Texas on November 2, 1935, to Jessie and Frances Chism.

Mary Caroline married Donald Louis Evans on September 1, 1956, in Solano, California and had three children. They celebrated 57 years together at the time of his death in 2014.

She was a former member of Bethel Church of San Jose, CA, Assembly of God and Bethel Builders Missionary Group. She was also a member of the Brownsville Baptist Church when she was able to attend and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Preceding her in death are both her parents, Jessie Sterling Chism and Frances George Anne Moore Chism and her beloved husband, Donald Evans.

Left to cherish her memory, her children, Meredith Evans, Faron Evans Sr., Petrena Bartholomew; grandchildren, Cole Evans, Faron Evans Jr., Alyssa Gray, Sterling Evans, Peyton Lamb, Pierce Lamb, Stephan Bartholomew, Mason Bartholomew; great grandchildren, Thatcher Evans, Olivia Bartholomew, Caleb Bartholomew, Blade Lamb, Madeline Lamb, and Audrey Lamb.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Boyd Funeral Home. The funeral services will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, January 21, 2026, both at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Interment at Brownsville Cemetery in Lonoke.  Arrangements entrusted to Boyd Funeral of Lonoke, Arkansas.
