Mary Ella Deaton

Mary Ella Deaton, 65, of Lonoke, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord February 18, 2024.  She lived for the Lord and loved being a Nana to her seven grandchildren.  She was a loving wife and mother.  Mary cared for everyone, and never met a stranger.  She loved to garden and put up the vegetables she grew.  She loved to cook and especially loved cooking Wednesday night dinners for her church.  Mary is survived by her husband of 40 years, Thomas Deaton of Lonoke; son, Thomas (Cynthia) Deaton of Charleston, SC; daughter, Kadie (Jonathan) Hartgraves of Beebe; siblings, Ann Mantooth, Fay Cox, Woody (Sherry) Evans, Diane Mask; grandchildren, Zoe, Angelina, Landon, Mason, Noah, Lilyanna, and Angel; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Elizabeth Evans. 

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, February 20 at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel.  Services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 21 at Brownsville Baptist Church with burial at Lonoke Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Brownsville Baptist Church Youth Fund at P.O.
