Kyla Michelle Counts

Kyla Michelle Counts, 44, of Lonoke, Arkansas, passed away on April 8, 2026. Kyla was born on March 18, 1982, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Anthony Stephens Sr. and Vera Ingle Bright.

Kyla enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her children and nieces and nephews. She had a love of going to Bible Study and going to eat Mexican any chance she could. She liked spending time outdoors and mostly spent that going fishing. She will be missed so deeply by all her family and friends.

She is proceeded in death by parents, Frances Ann Whitsett, Loyd Stephens, Vera Bright and Darrin Bright; husband, Charles Towe; brother, Johnny Stephens; nephews, Gage Stephens, Dee James Stephens and twin niece and nephew, Zoey and Zackary.

Left to cherish her memory; her husband, Micheal Counts; children, Brandon (Ashley) Stephens, Alex Towe; father, Anthony Stephens Sr.; brothers, Anthony (Daisy) Stephens, of Lonoke, Jimmy Stephens, of Stuttgart, Justin (Chasity) Stephens of Lonoke, Michael (Ellen) Stephens of Ulm, AR; sisters, Cortiny Good of Stuttgart, Dawanna Stephens of Lonoke, Victoria Forshee of Lonoke; sister at heart, Stephanie Blackmore of Lonoke; 26 nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Visitation will be held at 1:30pm, Friday, April 17, 2026, at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke. A celebration of life will follow at 2:00pm with burial at Biscoe Cemetery.
