Kent G. Lingo, 84, of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away at home on September 11, 2022. He was born in Lonoke County on November 16, 1937, to the late Homer and Rosie Lingo.
Kent retired as a Master Sergeant from the US Air Force and US Air Force Civil Service as an electrical technician and the electrical union.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; brothers, John “Bucky, Harry “Scooter”, and Alfred “Man”.
He is survived by his son, Kent (Charlotte) Lingo, Jr.; daughter, Janet Bounds; brother, Douglas Lingo; granddaughters, Amanda (Joe) Shepherd and Christina Lingo; and 5 great-granddaughters.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Boyd Funeral Home, in Lonoke, Arkansas with burial to follow at Lonoke Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00PM on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Boyd Funeral Home.
