Joyce Mccone

Joyce Ann McCone, 79 of Springdale passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Joyce was born on December 27, 1941, in Monticello to Jessie Lord and Bertie Beard Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 54 years, Flaudy Earl McCone.

She is survived by her children, Kim Copps (Lonnie), Jody Higginbotham, Sheila Wallace (Jimmy), Patrick McCone (April), and Tom McCone (Jan); ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; brother Jack Greene, sisters Karon Parrish and Sharon Cantrell (Larry), and two special friends of North West Arkansas, Lyndae Gilbert and Dianne Cook. She also leaves behind four special fur babies.

She retired as a lab manager from the J.O. Kelly Middle School and was a member of Cross Church of Springdale.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 18, 2021, at Pinewood Memorial Park in Crossett, Ar. A visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service. In accordance to Arkansas guidelines, all persons in attendance will be required to wear facial coverings. Social distancing guidelines will be in place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
