John Glenn Douglass, Jr. of Beebe, born in Little Rock on July 20, 1929 to John Glenn Douglass, Sr. and Lottie Louise Jones Douglass, died February 17, 2015. John was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother Goldie Jones Douglass, brothers, Jimmy Douglass and Billy Douglass. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Martha Lavon Moody Douglass; sons Bobby Gene Douglass of Conway and Ricky Glenn Douglass of Beebe; daughter Diana Lynn Douglass House of Dover; sisters, Carolyn Moon of Claremore, OK and Martha Roush of Carlisle; brother Kenneth Douglass of Malvern; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; special friends, Stanley Woods, Glen Judkins and Bobby Robinson.
Memorial Service will be at First Baptist Church in Beebe Sunday, February 22 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation to follow; private interment at a later day. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. www.boydfuneralhome.net.
