Jerry Wayne Craig

Jerry Wayne Craig, 75, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away on January 6, 2026, as a resident of the Springs, Greers Ferry in Heber Springs.

Jerry was born into a large family on April 3, 1950, in Moro, Arkansas to Robert and Helen Craig. Jerry enjoyed the outdoors and spent most of his time there. He loved fishing, farming and singing. He also loved spending time with “the boys”. Jerry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jerry is preceded in death by both his parents and fourteen siblings.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 53 years, Dora Esquivel Craig of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas; daughter, Crystal James of Heber Springs, Arkansas; three grandsons, Nick Craig of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and twins Craig and William Cotton both of Heber Springs, Arkansas; three great grandson’s with one on the way; one great granddaughter; one brother; four sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be at 12:00pm, Friday, January 9, 2026, at Boyd Funeral Home, Chapel with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
