James Butler

James Duane Butler, 81, of Lonoke passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018.  He was born March 6th, 1936 to Laura Ruth Stoddard and James Ruel Butler in Lonoke.  James was a draftsman at Remington for many years.  He was a member of the United States Army Reserve and attended Rock City Harvest in Sherwood.

He was preceded in death by parents Laura Ruth Stoddard and James Ruel Butler, and son Danny Butler.  Survivors include his wife, Pat Butler, four sons, David Butler, Sam (Peggy) Butler, JR McDaniel and Kenneth (Amanda) McDaniel three daughters, Terry (Rick) Fritz, Pamela (Larry) Johnson and Michelle (Rex) Bowers, seven granddaughters, Karen Davis, Ellen (Cory) Gaskins, Amy (Trey) Cartwright, Danielle Butler, Alexis (Garrett) Trammell, Amber McDaniel and Pendora Sontag,  four grandsons, Shawn Butler, Thomas (Sydney) Waters, Christopher McDaniel and Randell Shelton, four great grandsons, DJ Price, Mattson Harvey, David Dixson and Tristan Trammell, two great granddaughters, Kaitlyn Fletcher and Baley Berry.  Also survived by many cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 12 at Boyd Funeral Home – Chapel with visitation one hour prior.  Interment will follow services at Brownsville Cemetery.  Online guestbook, www.boydfuneralhome.net.
