James Blackard
July 26, 1927 — June 21, 2019

James Thomas Blackard, age 91, died June 21, 2019. He was a member of the Palm Street Church of Christ and a veteran of the US Army. Preceding in death are his mother Elizabeth Blackard; sisters, June Blackard and Erma Faye Bizzell; a son Charles Thomas Franks and a daughter Carol Ann Scott. He is survived by his wife Emil; son Craig (Pam) Blackard; daughters, Peggy (Eleck) Bewley and Mary Moore; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren
The family and friends visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 24 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Palm St Church of Christ with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Online guest book, www.boydfuneralhome.net.
