The gates of Heaven opened wide on October 5, 2020 to welcome home a new resident, Faye V. Elliott, 89, of Mayflower, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and woman of faith. Loved by all, she was a woman of grace and compassion, always putting others before herself.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Admiral Dewey and Esther Milam; son, Jimmy Elliott; brothers, Leon Milam, Gideon Milam and JD Milam and granddaughter, Heather Barbee.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Richard Elliott; children, Larry (Pam) Elliott, Terry Elliott and Cindy (Michael) Patton; grandchildren, Gwen (Kevin) Sullivan, Jeremy Elliott, Jessica (Matt) Sutterfield, Eric Barkley, Jessica Kelley, Hannah Elliott, Parker Elliott, Christopher Patton, Andrew Patton and Angela Patton; 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke, Arkansas. A graveside service will take place at approximately 12:00 PM at Cato Cemetery.
