Edna Gorbet

Edna Jewel Gorbet, 78, passed away January 5, 2022.
She was a secretary for many years, but her most loved job was raising her children and grandchildren.
She was a devoted member of the Lonoke Apostolic Church.
Edna is survived by her husband of sixty years, Larry Gorbet; children, Greg (Tammy) Gorbet, Steve (Angie) Gorbet, and daughter, Laurie Beth all of Lonoke. Seven grandchildren, Bradley, Jason, Steele, Cheyenne, John, Savanna, Garrett and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Dillion.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm, Saturday, January 8th at Lonoke Apostolic Church with a visitation starting at 11:00 am at the church. Interment will follow in Brownsville Cemetery, Lonoke.
The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, Memphis, TN. Arrangement by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
