February 3, 1934 — January 26, 2014
Donald Louis “Coach” Evans, age 79, died January 26, 2014. He is survived by his wife Caroline Evans; a son Faron Evans of Mayflower; daughters, Meredith Penn of Jacksonville and Petrena Bartholomew of Cabot; siblings, Fred Evans of Lonoke, Thomas Evans of Des Arc, Charles Evans of Little Rock, and Jane Martin of Olathe, Kansas and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a brother William Evans. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29 at Brownsville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Brownsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. www.boydfuneralhome.net.
