Cora Etta Billings

Our hearts are heavy as we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Cora Etta Billings, of Carlisle, Arkansas on August 11,2026 at the age of 78. She is predeceased by her parents Joe T. Isbell and Carlee Nation Isbell, brother, Marcus Isbell, Son, Mark Billings and sister, Mary Etta Pruitt, and brother-in-law, Carl Pruitt.

To our family, she was the guiding light through the good and challenging times. She taught us important life lessons, the importance of kindness, the value of hard work and how to find joy in simple things. We will forever cherish the memories and hear her laughter and feel her love through the coming days.

Cora is survived by her three children, Joey Daniels, Julia McDonald, and Alex Billings; Grandchildren, Cory Daniels and Tre’ McDonald; Great Grandchildren, Avacyn McDonald, Aurora McDonald, Ariadne McDonald, and Aviendha Daniels, together with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who were touched by her love.

Visitation will be Friday, August 14, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke, Arkansas. Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, Carlisle, Arkansas. Interment to follow at Hamilton Cemetery, Carlisle, Arkansas.
