Clair Bell Neighbors

Clair Bell Neighbors was a beautiful woman whose presence could light up any room. She had the biggest, brightest smile and a heart that was just as beautiful as her spirit. To know Clair was to know someone who loved deeply, cared endlessly, and found joy in the people and moments that meant the most to her.

Clair was born on April 29, 1951, to the late Lynn and Nancy Hayes. She was preceded in death by her siblings Johnny Hayes, Wayne Moore, T.W. Hayes, Troy Hayes, Martha Turner, Dean Watson, Aldeaner Allen, and Amanda Turner. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sisters Sarah Harris and Mary Duncan.

Clair loved her family more than words could ever express. Family was at the center of her heart, and she took great joy in spending time with the people she loved. She enjoyed shopping, playing Bingo, and going yard-sale shopping with her sisters. She had a way of making ordinary moments special and creating memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Clair also shared a beautiful life with her husband, David Neighbors. Together, they enjoyed the simple pleasures of being side by side, including watching westerns and Naked and Afraid. Their love and companionship were a special part of Clair’s life.

Clair leaves behind her loving husband, David Neighbors, and her children: Sherry Root (Peppi Root), Toney Turner, Jennifer Gooden, Yulonda Williams, Cody Neighbors, and Cara Carter.

She was a proud grandmother to Colton Dillion, Clayton Dillion, Koby Gooden, Emily Williams, River Baker, Hannah Turner, Wesley Harper, Lucas Harper, Dalton Neighbors, and Kinley.

She also leaves behind a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were blessed to know and love her.

Clair will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her loving heart, her laughter, and most of all, the love she had for her family. She touched the lives of so many people simply by being herself. Her absence will leave a space that can never be filled, but the memories she created and the love she gave will live on through every person she touched.

Though we wish we could have more time with her, we are grateful for the years, the memories, the laughter, and the love she gave us. Her beautiful smile may no longer be seen in person, but it will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

Thank you for the compassion, kindness, comfort, and care you gave Clair and our family during such a difficult and precious time. Your presence and dedication meant more to us than words can express. We will forever be grateful for the love and care you showed our beloved Clair.

Visitation will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services immediately following at 12:00pm.  Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lonoke, Arkansas.
