Chancery David Coffman

Chancery David Coffman, 45, of Lonoke, passed away on September 28, 2026. Chance was a one-of-a-kind person whose outgoing personality and quick sense of humor could light up any room. He was always joking around, making people laugh, and never seemed to meet a stranger.

Those who knew him will remember his laughter, his stories, and the way he could turn an ordinary moment into an amazing memory. But alongside his fun- loving personality was a deep love for the outdoors. Chance was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved whitetail deer hunting and duck hunting. He loved being in the woods, on the water, and doing what he enjoyed the most. Hunting wasn’t simply a pastime for him; it was a passion and a part of who he was.

He Created countless memories through his time hunting, and those memories will be treasured and passed down by anyone who had the privilege of sharing them with him. Somewhere beyond this life, we hope he’s sitting in a duck blind at daylight or watching a big whitetail buck walk through the timber, still smiling, still joking, and simply just still being Chance.

Chancery is preceded in death by his mother Rita Coffman and brother Billy Coffman. Chancery is survived by his father Roger Coffman Sr. and Mary Coffman, brother Roger Coffman Jr. (Brandy), sister Shawn Taylor (David), sister Susan Beatty (Darryl), son Chance Coffman Jr., son Jordan Coffman, daughter Haley Michelle, son Tyler Wise, daughter Rylee Wise (Cory), grandson Jordan Coffman Jr., grandson Cory Linz Jr., and a slew of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Services will be private and will be held at Weedon Cemetery on Thursday October 1, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Chancery’s memory to Caney Creek Baptist Church.
