Catherine Lybrand

Catherine L. Lybrand, 85, of Lonoke, passed quietly in her home Saturday, June 27, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born April 1, 1935 to the late Francis Swaby and Jewel Lampkin Alberson.  She was a registered nurse for 50+ years and truly enjoyed helping others. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, George Lybrand and son Stephen Lybrand.  Catherine is survived by her son, Michael & Jodye Lybrand of Texarkana, Arkansas; daughter Diana Lybrand of Lonoke, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  She was a long time member of the Cocklebur Baptist Church and served on the hospitality committee until last year.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cocklebur Van Ministry.  4138 Cocklebur Rd. Ward, AR 72176. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 pm Monday, June 29 at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel.
