Bonnie Gail Moody, born on December 12, 1947, in Arkansas, passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 77. At the time of her passing, Bonnie resided in Lonoke Arkansas. She was a person of Christian faith, whose life was a testament to her beliefs in kindness, generosity, and the power of education.
Bonnie dedicated much of her life to teaching, inspiring countless students with her passion for knowledge and unwavering support. As a school teacher and mentor, she was known for her ability to connect with those often overlooked, offering guidance and encouragement. Her generosity extended beyond the classroom, touching the lives of many who needed it most.
Known for her kind heart and outspoken nature, Bonnie had a way of making those around her feel valued and heard. She possessed a blunt honesty that was tempered by her bright, infectious smile, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, E. M. (Martin) and Dorothy Stocks, two brothers, Michael (Mike) and Joe Stocks; and her neice, Heather. She is survived by her nephew, Heath Stocks, and her special cousins, Dr. John Scheel (Vickie); VaLynn (Dustin) Mills; Jason (Violet) Scheel; and Vonda (George) Bradley.
A service honoring her life will be held at the Concord United Methodist Cemetery in Furlow, Arkansas at 10 AM on Monday, June 23.
