Bobby ‘Bob’ L. Ball, 81, resident of Humnoke, AR went home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2019 at Chambers Nursing Home.
Bob was born on July 24, 1937 in Humnoke to Louis and Oleta (Shumate) Ball. Bob was a graduate of Humnoke High School and a retired truck driver. He was a member and honorary deacon of the Humnoke Pentecostal Church of God where he lovingly and faithfully served for 44 years. Bob never met a stranger and loved telling stories. He enjoyed working in his shop and riding his trike, but above all, his pride and joy was his family. He never missed an opportunity to tell them he loved them.
He is survived by his children; Randall(Denise)Ball of Humnoke, Sonda(Jon)Vinson of Fayetteville, Tonda(Bryan)Hutson of Carlisle, Steve(Becky)Ball of Carlisle, 11 Grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 Great-great grandchild; a sister, Cynthia(Wayne)Jeffries of Ward and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lavelle(Jackson)Ball, parents, Louis and Oleta Ball, Brothers, Waymon Ball and Don Ball, and his granddaughter Ali Gaston.
His visitation will be Monday, Jan. 7th from 6-8 PM at Humnoke PCG. The service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 8th at the Humnoke Pentecostal Church of God with Rev. Paul Jackson and Rev. Jim Laudell officiating. Graveside service will follow at Mulberry Cemetery in England.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Humnoke PCG Church. A special thanks to Chambers Nursing Home and Heather Hutson for taking such good care of our Daddy.
