Billy Gerald Hilliard, of North Little Rock, died on June 26, 2017. He was 73 years old.
Bill was born on June 18, 1944 in Cave City, Arkansas to parents William (Gerald) Hilliard and Pauline Laman Hilliard.
He married Carol Beth Leatherman, on his birthday, in 1971
He spent 33 years working for the State of Arkansas, primarily with the State Department of Education, before retirement. .
Bill is survived by wife, Carol, sons William (Boyd) and David (Blake); along with their wives Laura and Meredith and three grandchildren, William (Jackson), Calleigh Jane and Addison Kate. Bill was proceeded in death by both of his parents and sister, Brenda Ask.
Bill attended Park Hill Baptist Church. He played an active role in both his boys' lives; coaching T-ball, basketball, etc. Bill loved to quail hunt, read and spend time with friends and family.
Funeral services will take place at Park Hill Baptist Church, in North Little Rock, on Wednesday, June 28 at 10am. All are welcome to attend and help celebrate Bill's life.
