Jo Ann McConnell was born January 12, 1937 to Henry Curtis Crawley and Martha Blanche Crawley of Sledge, Mississippi. Joann departed this world on August 21, 2019, held and surrounded by her loving family.

Jo Ann was known throughout the community of Lonoke for her various roles in childcare, food service and often through her children and grandchildren, she was known as “Granny”, “JoJo”, or “Mrs. Joann” to everyone. She loved working in her flower beds and yard, playing bingo, casino gaming, reading books, spending time with family and friends, especially with her great-grandchildren. Jo Ann is loved and will be greatly missed by many.
